Great read! I'm also working on a Holybro PX4 X500 V2 with a Pixhawk 6C. Running into an ESC calibration issue — tried it through both Mission Planner and QGroundControl, but the calibration fails each time. Has anyone here run into this and found a fix? Would appreciate any pointers.
Thanks! Glad to hear you're working on a similar setup. I actually haven't run into that issue myself, so I'm not sure what the cause could be. Hopefully someone who's dealt with it can chime in. I'd be interested to hear what ends up fixing it.
Thanks for the reply! I did some digging and I think the issue is that the X500 V2's stock BLHeli_S ESCs run DShot — and DShot ESCs don't actually need throttle calibration, which is why it kept aborting in both Mission Planner and QGC. Looks like the move is to skip calibration entirely and just enable DShot600. Going to test it and I'll circle back with how it goes.

That makes sense. Thanks for looking into it and sharing what you found! Let me know how the test goes.
